Best practices for replying to messages from travellers

We allow travellers and hosts to freely communicate with one another before and after the booking. Here are some tips to improve the communication:

  • Reply to messages and call back requests quickly. We’ll give you more exposure if you constantly reply faster than other hosts.
  • Keep your phone number up-to-date. Travellers frequently ask for your phone number to call you directly.
  • Reply from your smartphone. LetMeGo works well with the most popular mobile devices.
  • Try to find a common language with the traveller. When travellers using our site in other languages send you a message, we automatically translate the original message for you as well as your reply. Computer translations don’t always make sense. As such, if you can write to the traveller using a language that he/she understands, the experience will be much better.

Lucky you! No homework this time.
