Visitors to your listing can now “Like” it on Facebook. The more people have liked it, the higher your chances of receiving bookings. Learn how the “like” process works and how you can kick-start it:
- When a person “likes” your listing, Facebook will tell all of their friends about it.
- Visitors viewing your listing will see how many other visitors have “liked it”.
- Travellers are more likely to book a listing that has been “liked” by many other people.
You can kickstart the “liking” process by using your personal Facebook account to “like” your lodging:
- Go to “My Listings”
- Click on the web address of your listing(s). Click on the “Like” button
That’s it! It is a fast and free way of doing social marketing.

Re facebook, I am sure that it is something that can be done to improve enquiries. However, the more i look into it, the more I think that there is a lot of work involved in getting it up and running to a stage where it is worthwhile; especially compared with SEO work, where your audience is not limited to a handful of people who know of your site.
I have a site on facebook, but I am too busy with SEO work to find time to work on it.
Cheers.
