We are hiring at LetMeGo.com! We are looking for a software developer to focus on test automation, which heavily uses Selenium and Javascript. This person will join our ninja-grade development team working from our offices in Bogota. This is a full-time, long-term, independent contract. This contract starts paying COP2,000,000 per month. We also offer stock options and paid vacation time.
Summary
LetMeGo is the most advanced lodging service on the web, built by world-traveling, ninja-grade coders. We launched our beta back in January of this year. Although we are not profitable yet, we are well funded by Torrenegra Labs. We think that testing rocks and debugging sucks. This is where you come in. We are looking for a genius software developer to focus on test automation using Selenium. Your job will require you to write and record new use cases, update the existing ones (which run in the hundreds), and offer limited tech support. Optionally, every now and then you will be able to play with the code of LetMeGo.

Job Description
- You will be responsible for recording and updating hundreds of test cases using Selenium.
- Every day, cronjobs automatically run all test cases. If something fails, you will be informed to investigate.
- You will be offering technical site support to other tech-savvy members of the LetMeGo team whenever they have questions and issues with the LetMeGo.com site.
- Your direct leader will be Alexander Torrenegra
- You will use the RRapido Methodology (a custom flavor of agile development and RUP)
- Optionally (only if you wish), every now and then you will be able to modify the code of LetMeGo (fixing bugs and performing minor improvements). We call it “The Merrcury Engine”.
- Optionally, you will be able to suggest and implement improvement to the existing test automation platform of LetMeGo.

Requirements
Successful candidates must possess all of these skills, attributes, and tools, without exception:
- You must be a very good software developer. Seriously.
- Serious knowledge of JavaScript or Selenium.
- 1+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Great sense of humor.
- Work full time with us.
- Be able to work out of our office in Bogota, Colombia (Calle 100 con Avenida 19).
- Be available 24×7 for emergencies.
- Your English skills should be good (reading, writing, listening, talking).
- The ability to work well with virtual teams (you may never get to see some of your coworkers in person).
- Be able to work as an independent contractor.
